Academic Information - Overview

Dennis Bradley

As a student in Physics at The University of Akron, Dennis did research on high temperature NMR of polymer materials in a joint project with NASA Lewis Research Center. He also did some work at Akron in the production of Bucky balls. After graduation Dennis did work as a research associate at NASA Lewis in the materials division concerning fan blade containment for the High Speed Civil Transport program.

In 1994, Dennis joined Venture Lighting International, Inc. as a Development Physicist. VLI is a subsidiary of Advanced Lighting Technologies, Inc. a publicly held corporation (NASDAQ: ADLT). VLI is the world leader in the innovation of Metal Halide lamps (light bulbs). Dennis is presently Technical Leader of Product Engineering. He has responsibility of all technical issues with product design and development and testing for 300+ products.
